Econoloc gas springs eliminate the need for separate safety rods in critical lift-assist applications. They positively lock when fully extended, protecting the operator from potential injury in the event of overload or misuse. Type: Variable force. Rod Diameter: 8mm. Tube Diameter: 18mm. Force Range: 100-650N. Material: Nitrided steel piston rod, black powder coated steel tube, nylon/steel end connectors. Boxed as a pair; comprising 1 x Econoloc safety shroud and 1 x standard. Swift & Sure spring, they come fitted with FLO-B2 end fittings and are gassed to maximum pressure. They are supplied with additional FLO-E3 end fittings, instructions and an allen key for adjusting force in-situ. End to end measurement - shoulder to shoulder - not including the threaded ends. From the end of the tube (thicker part) to the end of the rod (thinner part).
